On hot summer days, inflatable water slides are fun to own and play with. Regardless, it is important that while your children enjoy quality time on your inflatable water slide for kids, you should also know how to take care of your inflatable water slide, and also ensure ultimate safety while using the water slide.


How to Care for Your Inflatable Water Slides

  • Wash the water slides

To wash your inflatable water slide for kids, you have two options. It is either you clean by spraying a cloth with a vinyl cleaner or dip it in a dishwashing solution and use the cloth to wipe the water slide.

On the other hand, you can spray water into the water slide with a garden hose. Add in the vinyl cleanser or dishwashing solution. Scrub the water slide and rinse afterward.

  • Use an antiseptic

After washing and rinsing, make sure that you use a suitable antiseptic for the water slide. By doing so, you will be able to eradicate any lingering germs and bacteria in the water slide.

  • Allow drying

After spraying with an antiseptic, allow the water to slide to dry under the sun.
Safety Precautions During Water Slide Riding

  • Set up the water slide according to the instructions on the pack

One of the safety precautions that you need to know, especially for those of you who are setting your water slides for kids for the first time, is that you follow the setup instructions from the first word to the latter.

Before you allow riders to get into the slide, most especially children, kindly ensure that the water slide is secured firmly to the ground in a spot devoid of pebbles, stones, or sharp particles.

  • Don’t overfill your water slides.

To avoid an unnecessary explosion of your water slide, do well not to overfill your slide with water. Make the water content as minimum as possible.

  • Avoid handling sharp things

Before your children get onto the water slide, ensure that they do away with sharp objects which include jewelry, toys, belts, baby safety products, shoes, etc.

These objects can cause a puncture of the slide and ruin it permanently.

  • Avoid jumping on the slide

When your children are riding the slide, make sure there is no form of jumping, wrestling, flipping, bouncing, and all forms of rough play happening on the slide.
