The top layer shows a boy/girl in clothes; the second layer shows the boy/girl without clothes; the third layer shows the muscles under the skin; the fourth layer shows the internal organs; and the final layer shows the skeleton. On the back of each piece is a number, making it clear which pieces belong to which layers. It is an excellent puzzle for learning. The child can either play with the puzzle alone or with an adult, who can tell them all about the different parts of the body and their functions.
